특별활동의 실제적 실행을 위한 방안 탐색

본 연구는 특별활동 교육과정을 편성, 운영하는 과정에서 나타나는 문제점올 고찰하여 실제적 실행 방안을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 특별활동의 편성 • 운영과 관련된 선행 연구와 광주광역시에 소재하고 있는 G초등학교의 특별활동 실행 사례를 통하여 그 실행상의 문제점을 파악하였다. 본 연구에서는 특별활동 관련 문헌을 고찰하고 G초등학교의 교육계획서와 학년별 특별활동 세부 운영 계획서를 분석하였으며, 특별활동 부장교사 및 담임교사, 학생에 대한 면담을 실시하였다.

본 연구에서 도출한 특별활동 실행상의 문제점과 해결적 대안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특별황동 계획 측면에서는①특별활동에 대한 교사들의 인식과 참여도, ②학생의 요구 반영, ③문서상의 계획 등과 관련하여 문제점을 추출하였다. 특별활동의 실제적인 실행을 위해 교사 연수 프로그램의 개발과 지원, 학생 요구의 실제적 반영을 위한 학기 중 요구조사 실시 등의 방안을 제안하였다. 둘째, 특별활동 편성 • 운영 측면에서는 ①프로그램의 개설, ②시간 편성 • 운영, ③인적 • 물적 자원의 확보 방안, ④가정 및 지역사회와의 연계 등과 관련된 문제점을 지적하였다. 이에 대한 효율적인 실행 방안으로 연간 지도 계획의 지속적인 수정과 실행, 담임 부서제 운영, 지역별 특별활동 연구회 조직 및 운영 등을 제안하였다. 셋째, 특별활동의 평가 측면에서는 프로그램의 타당성에 대한 평가와 학생에 대한 평가로 구분하여 동일 부서별 연차적인 연계 형식의 평가, 학생 평가를 위한 5개 영역별 평가 분담 체제 마련, 영역 • 부서별 평가 기준안 마련 등을 제안하였다.

이 외에도 특별활동의 개념과 성격 규명, 개별 접근식 차원의 운영, 교사들의 인식 전환을 위한 교사 연수 계획, 지역사회의 인적 • 물적 자원 활용을 위한 교사간 협동적 사전 계획, 탄력적인 시간 운영을 위한 융통성 부여 등의 빙법에 대해 제언하였다.

This study intends to examine problems in planning, organizing and managing, and evaluating of EA(extracurricular activities), and to investigate the practical implementation plan of them. For the purposes, I review the related literature about extracurricular activities, and analyze a plan for schooling, a scheme for extracurricular activities of the G-Elementary School in this study. And I interview a charge of extracurricular activities, teachers, and students.

The problems in the implementation of extracurricular activities were extracted. These problems were clarified in the aspects of planning for extracurricular activities, organizing and managing of them, and evaluating of them.

The results of this research as follows:

First, the requirement of teachers' interest about EA, active participation in a planning for EA, and accommodation to students’ needs were suggested in the planning aspect of EA. Secondly, the extension of teachers’ study and training, constitution and management of a society for the EA research were suggested in the organizing and managing aspect of EA. Thirdly, the needs for program reconstructing and the arrangement of evaluation criteria were proposed in the evaluating aspect of EA.
