ABSTRACT
This study presents the diagram for problem -solving and anchored instruction to teach the narrator of fictions.
The diagram for problem- solving can be scheme of students but before being incorporated into them, if a teacher established a concrete situation, the students could solve the problem about the narrator of a fiction easily.
The diagram for problem- solving consist of three elements ; the state of departure, space of problem, and the state of goal. There are three problems about the narrator. The first is "Who speaks? (Who is a narrator?)". The second is "Who watches? (Who is a focalizor?)". The third is "How the narrator presents actors' mind?". And the anchored instruction actualize the diagram for problem- solving.
