ABSTRACT

Though we are on the threshold of new millenium of the year of 2000, Korea is still a divided country. However, we have to look for the new curriculum programs for national unification.

The purpose of this thesis is to suggest intensive educational programs for students of national int egration spirit . Curriculum programs for national unification education aim at fostering students with clear objective and rational views on the national unification.

The way to the national integr ation definitely lies in the mutual understanding of the dis similarities between North and South and finding of school curriculum methods.

And this thesis tries to find answers for the practical unification curriculum programs to integrate North and South Korean people in the school practice integration and in the national unification education.

'National unification education' is to form a close and ideal relationship of mutual dependence between teachers and students in the education field, which will only be possible by true unification education. In such a situation, national unification education should be improved to get students ' interests on kor ean unification. Our korean people have to ready for ' suitable education method ' which will make it possible to integrat e values . We should make educational efforts for content of 7th curriculum of 『Moral』, 『Social studie s』& 『Korean』on the integration of North and South. T hat hard research worker on korean unification can make for the future - oriented unified society.
