출산․가족 친화적 가치교육에 대한 교사 인식과 요구

저출산․고령화 사회에 대비하기 위하여 가족과 공동체에 대한 가치관이 형성되기 시작하는 초등학교 시기와 사회적 책임감이 형성되는 중․고등학교 시기에 학교교육을 통해 출산․가족 친화적 가치관을 정립하도록 하는 것이 중요한 과제라고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 저출산․고령화 사회에 대응하기 위한 학교교육의 과제를 가치교육으로 상정하고, 가치교육을 실시하는 초․중등 교사들의 출산․가족 관련 가치교육에 대한 인식과 요구를 분석하여 개선방안을 모색하고자 하였다.

이를 위하여 첫째, 초․중등 교사의 저출산․고령화 사회현상에 대한 인식을 분석하였다. 둘째, 학교교육에서 다루어지고 있는 출산․가족 관련 교육내용에 대한 교사의 인식과 요구를 분석하였다. 셋째, 출산․가족 친화적 가치교육을 위한 교육내용 및 학교 현장의 개선방안을 제언하였다.

To tackle growing trend of aging society and low birth rate, it is important for the youth to have positive attitude towards marriage and birth by encouraging them to avoid excessive individual values and promote family values. During the course, school education plays a critical role, since one usually starts to attach values to family and community in elementary school and builds up responsibility for society in middle and high schools.

To improve of birth and family friendly value education in the elementary and secondary schools, the survey has been carried out to teachers. This study composed of three parts.: According to the survey, (1) teacher awareness of status and causes of the ongoing trend of aging population and low birth rate was analyzed (2) and teacher awareness and need of birth and family friendly value education in the elementary and secondary schools were analyzed (3) we suggested ways to improve of birth and family friendly value education in the elementary and secondary schools in line with the ongoing trend.
